Who is Julie?


Julie Lendon Stone, (born Julie Lee McLendon) has all the qualities one hopes for in a fine artist: a beautiful voice, warmth, intelligence, and a  natural ability to entertain audiences. Her performances are always memorable.  She is a preeminent singer/recording artist /entertainer who is beloved by her many fans, having brought joy to audiences throughout the United States and South America.

Growing up in California, Julie started her classical voice training at age 6.  When she was 16 she won first place in a talent contest sponsored by the Bank of America; a 2-year scholarship to a  renowned conservatory of music.

After her marriage to her first husband, she moved to Venezuela, where she quickly learned Spanish, and went about adding Latin music to her repertoire.  She toured South America with local theatrical groups, starring as Anna in "The King and I," and also toured as musical director and leading female role in "Promises Promises."

During the last thirteen years she has delivered over 2,000 performances in theaters, restaurants, senior living communities, country clubs, churches and other venues (private and public) in Florida.

Julie has recorded beautiful, timeless songs and videos, and has produced 14 albums, to date, that sell worldwide.  Sales have helped fund her continued mission of bringing top drawer entertainment to a variety of senior communities and health care facilities.
